Only teenagers share and listen to their mp3?

IPOD's or MP3's - I just can't get into the groove of those things. Don't you think it's far better to put the noise aside and enjoy being present with what's going on around you? These days most people ride or walk around with a cell phone, an MP3 or an Ipod in their ear. And then there's the kids in the backseat being entertained by an onboard DVD player. Are all of these devices aimed at not having to communicate with our fellow man? It's an interesting world we live in.

Bob: Interesting...I thought I'm the only one sniggering at this. Strange that this couple and several others I'd seen doing this here! Just couldn't fathom...

Haha...the PS note.

Like it!

I did have an mp3 player, and was dancing in with my heavily-laden shopping bags to 'twist and shout' & did my back in!!

Annelisa: hohoho...

I was given an mp3 but that only lasted a couple of years only...I used that to shut out excessive noise in the public with classical music!

I have never realy seen one close up! I'm still into portable cd players I wear on my belt when I go walking. That's all I use it for...and I've only ever used our cell phone about 5 times!!

MOI: I don't own a portable CD player but I do have hifi though. Glad you still keep using that you have. Some friends I have are gadget freaks and they will amass the latest! I don't understand them but...While the quality of sound produced is good, the lifespan for mp3 has till its battery lasts and that's it and it's far too pricy!

When I exercise I carry a mobile for emergency, and my camera to snap anything I fancy.
