problem on blog site

For the past week I'd been having problem with this blog site. That I had posted did'nt appear when I return to 'view blog'.

Now when I enter I cannot view posting on 'space idol' which I was able to last evening.

When I go to my regular blogger friend's blog like 'Spilling Out' 'Glimpses Intangible', I seem to miss that latest post which I had entered before.

Can any one tell me what's happening?

Am I a little 'off' if I view this as someone playing tricks? If so, can the administration do something?

Ha! I had just entered 'view blog' and guess what? I cannot see that posted, yet when I enter the 'edit posts' I'm able to see to write this!

to each his own

Fancy my 100th blog post!

I start out this blog hoping to map out that happened today for tomorrow. I did’nt want to be boxed in but needing the space to discover what my world is and had been.

I was given the tip that if I had wanted to receive comments on my blog, I should provide my profile. Will this make any difference if I didn’t honor one? Unlike the real world, should I speak at a seminar or give a lecture, I’m obligated to provide my credentials for professional etiquette.

I get to know a blogger by the content written…not by the profile given.

Increasingly I enjoy the photo (not the exhibitionists) and doodles blogs more than the word blogs. Many word blogs are rants and ramblings and are poorly expressed though to the writer, it is masterpiece! Of course there are the exceptions. I enjoy those word blogs that include a photo or two.

Another tip given was if I had wanted a stream of bloggers to my blog, I should concentrate on one area of topic. I blog not for popularity contest! I blog anything and everything for memories and keepsakes!

The judges on tv program ‘American Idol’ were paid handsomely to comment to talent scout. Simon Cowell’s infamous caustic remarks given to those wanna-be’s a foretaste and cut to the world of entertainment or the rich-n-famous.

However in the blog world, comments are provided for one to share one’s thoughts or opinions; for interaction and encouragement; a conversational piece between bloggers; personally these help me to connect the content written with greater clarity.

Is there an art to the blog comments? I wonder.

I suspect that some nasty comments provided by those labeled ‘anonymous’ came from ones closer to the blogger than realized...perhaps done out of jealousy or spite or sheer bad-taste fun!

I join the blogaholics blog as I found increasingly whenever I have the time or am bored, on reflex I’d go to the blog sites rather than pick up a magazine to browse or read a book which I did previously.

Unfortunately today a lot of that published are mere rehash of the past or re-written except for a difference in concept or stance! All for money’s sake!

Naturally at workplaces, emails have replaced post-mails or delivered mails and these have become one’s diet of daily correspondence whereas previously, when the email first came on the scene, this was viewed as a form of addiction. How perception of issues and life changes with time!

freedom of speech

I am sorry to read about a blogger being attacked by hate mails or questioned one's credential and credibility on the blog written.

Forgive me doctor anonymous blog for lifting off the expression from one of your commentators... "Don't let the bastards grind you down." I really like this and I hope I don't have to read this in my blog!

Is there freedom of speech when those faceless anonymous pranksters and cowards rip the good people off unaware for their sinister enjoyment?

Is there an undercurrent war in this blog world?

Are these not the emotional terrorists?

Whoever you are out there, remember you are the loser! By deliberately hurting others, do you know you're actually hurting yourself? How pitiful!

blogosphere

There is the bright side and dark side to this blog world.

There are several blog sites I frequent daily. (My virtual pals, please excuse me for intruding into your sites by visiting and not leaving comments as I just want to enjoy the moment.)

Just read about the passing away of Sidney Sheldon, a pop novelist, on last Tuesday from blog.myspace.com/dodinsky. Thank you. An avid reader I lose myself from the harsh reality of life reading such pop literature which is really easy reading.

Through one of the comments made, apparently the author suffered depression where his father helped him out of his situation and he became the person he was meant to be! Great insights through this channel of communication.

I was upset when commentators made unnecessary allegations that deliberately hurt another. I shall never understand the mindset of such persons. To question the credibility of a blogger is unkind and thoughtless.

Comments made should be on the content written and not on the person!

Certainly a blog is a blog...unlike in the real world leaders like the politicians or astute businessmen or...unless, the novelty of the blog has become something else!

who am I?

I received a comment suggesting that I make some money through blogging. Thank you.

I blog to remain anonymous. I want the freedom to jot my thinking without feeling I'm biased or offending any one in due time. Trustingly I hope to receive comments to keep me at bay.

There were a couple of bloggers who entered with their own identity found inconvenienced...so I should heed their unspoken advice.

blog world

As the days go by, I find this blog world (blogosphere?) an interesting place.

There are so many new jargons which are so alien to me.

Bloggers tag one another, meme, blogblast, blogitive, and whatsoever...

The best is the best...why the bestest?

I guess I will never fully fathom the excitement...take e.g. when the bestest of blog nominate a blog, the blogger seems greatly elated and start celebrating... Is this like the oscar award for the film and pop stars industry!

I add bloggers to my blogs browsed for convenience of re-entering to read that updated...

It's amazing there are millions if not billions of bloggers out there...
