I love orchids. The Singapore Botanic Garden has a special collection
and there are those special VIP orchids
named after world leaders when they visit this island.

What fascinates me is the colors...
they're almost like watercolor paintings
though the flower is thick and waxy!

Oh I so agree! Orcgids are a fascinating flower in every respect. The colors---sometimes VERY surprising--ALWAYS Beautiful!

Orchids are all so different and thuis one does look like water colour! I've only ever had one on a wrist corage.
