children

Children Learn What They Live
If children live with hostility,
they learn to fight.

If children live with ridicule,
they learn to be shy.

If children live with tolerance,
they learn to be patient.

If children live with encouragement,
they learn confidence.

If children live with praise,
they learn to appreciate.

If children live with fairness,
they learn justice.

If children live with security,
they learn faith.

If children live with approval,
they learn to like themselves.

If children live with acceptance, and friendship,
they learn to find love in the world.

What a beautiful photo you have placed so appropriately with this verse. Children can be taught much then they learn to fly on their own. Their air space, their own time. We watch and pray each day that they will find the true jems of life: compassion,love,trust...Hoping you have a wonderful day!!!

That's my golden rule - Children Learn What They Live. It's hanging on my office wall. Thanks for putting it out there.

It is amazing what impact experience and nurture has on kids for life. What a huge responsibility for parents to model all these things.

Ah, I knew I'd pick up a gem of wisdom from you when I came here. Great poem. So true and so thoughtful. I think I will read it a few times so I can remember it better!

See you soon
