at a bus terminal

can you guess what these three hoops are for?

Added the day after:

There were only 3 hoops sighted along this bus terminal.

It is for bicycles...shouldn't there be more? Obviously bicycles are discouraged in the heart of the busy streets. Walking around the inner city is good exercise though.

For tourists, there are the free shuttles that ply through the inner city of Auckland every 15 minutes interval. However students from the nearby educational institutions board these...

When I saw the hoops, I wondered --

  • for dog training?
  • distraction for young children like going through the hoops for fun perhaps?
  • any suggestions...

Bicycles? Is it already Friday where you live?

I agree with azure....I think they could be for bicycles. Or...earrings for elephants.

azure: I live on the other side of the globe. I like blogs as we can visit one another in spite of the distances. Cheerio.

joy: great imagination. These hoops might be common in the west but what curious me was there were only three at the bus terminal. I like your suggestion: earrings for elephants!

reveal: yep, it's for bicycles.

Earings for elephants...LOL, LOL....But I think Bicyles, too....Except, you have to supply your own chain and lock! Funny. And as you said, how come only three??? Hard to know. You should ask them at the Bus Terminal and then let us know!

Thanks for your recent visit. This looks like art deco to me and if not I think a giant dropped his key ring holder!!!
